Show Dates
There are GCCF Shows virtually every weekend throughout the year, usually on Saturdays. Concerns about cross-infection mean that there is a ‘thirteen day’ rule, which means that cats from a particular household can only be shown every other weekend. However, there is nothing to stop you visiting- and even helping out- as frequently as you want.
I act as a judge’s steward. I am not on ‘The Scheme’ to become a probationer judge, I just enjoy handling the cats. I suppose that over the year (which in the Cat Fancy begins in June) I steward between 20 and 30 times. Sometimes I show as well, but certainly not that often!
